• I upgraded from 2.0.5 to 2.0.9 just last night and all functionality tested fine and everything’s working fine today. However I saw these statements in today’s announcement (http://wordpress.org/development/2007/02/new-releases/) that made me wonder if I missed something by not upgrading to versions 6, 7 and 8, first:

“Version 2.0.9 only includes the security update, which was around the code we use to prevent XSS.” and…

“Files changed from 2.0.7 to 2.0.9 (version 2.0.8 was tagged for Debian, but never announced):” followed by the list of files…

Can anyone verify that upgrading from 5 to 9 included all the fixes from 6, 7 and 8? If not, what should I have done?

    Thanks!
