 * Hello,
    We have received a message from PayPal, stating that the URL related
   to PayPal (IPN) is failing. Before, I used WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Gateway
   and it was going very well, but when switching from a plugin to this one, users
   report problems completing their payments, some may only do so on the second
   attempt. Any solution for the IPN? They mention that it will be disabled soon
   if we can’t correct it.

 * Hi [@mysuel](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mysuel/),
 * The IPN endpoint that is now failing was used by the previous Checkout plugin.
   But PayPal Payments does not use PayPal IPN and instead transmits events via
   webhooks. This works similar to IPN, but better and so you don’t need to enter
   a specific URL anywhere as everything is automatically configured by the plugin.

   If you don’t use any of the previous PayPal integrations anymore, then you can
   disregard these messages and/or remove the endpoint that was set up in your PayPal
   account.
 * We recently implemented a Webhooks Status page to manage the webhooks from within
   the plugin. So PayPal IPN should not be a concern anymore when using PayPal Payments
   as the plugin uses the latest PayPal JavaScript SDK and REST API integration.
 * If you have any failing payments, then I suggest enabling “Logging” in the plugin
   settings to collect some debug information about these orders. We’d be happy
   to assist further if you encounter any issues with the new plugin.
 * Kind regards,
    Niklas

 * I got the same problem. Basically, I switch from PayPal Standard to Paypal Payments.
   Everything is pretty ok but receiving the IPN warning message every day on my
   email. I deleted the Paypal Standard plugin and I disabled IPN on my Paypal account
   but I keep receiving the same message every day:
 * ——————————————-
 *     ```
       Hello, xxx

       Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing:

       https://mysite.com/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal

       If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account.

       Thank you for your prompt attention to this issue.
       ```
 * I don’t know what else to do, can someone help me, please?
 * To get this clarified and ideally stop the emails, I suggest reaching out to
   the PayPal Merchant Technical Support: [https://www.paypal-techsupport.com/s/login/](https://www.paypal-techsupport.com/s/login/)
 * As far as I am aware, deleting the IPN endpoint in the PayPal account should
   be enough to get this resolved. PayPal Payments does not utilize PayPal IPN in
   any way, so I have not much experience with it though. But there is nothing the
   plugin could do in this regard.
    PayPal IPN only remains relevant for you when
   you have ongoing PayPal Standard subscriptions that need to be renewed automatically.
 * Kind regards,
    Niklas
