iphone vs ipads / phones vs tablets (33 posts)

    Hello
    I really would like to be able to disable the slider for iphones or mobile phones but keep it for ipads and tablets.

    This will enable to get into site easier on iphones and mobile phones and it will save more space. For ipads and tablets the slider is ok, it does not show any issue with opening speed.

    Any suggestions, help.?

    A quick fix could be just to hide the slider with CSS on mobile, is that okay?

    Does Virtue have a section of the dashboard for CSS modifications? Like "Custom CSS"?

    Also, can you link a Webpage with the slider?

    Try adding this:

    @media all and (max-width: 480px) {
        .sliderclass {
            display: none
        }
    }

    So where exactly did you put the CSS?

    Theme opthins - advanced setting - custome css

    For some reason it looks like that setting isn't working.

    Install this Custom CSS Manager plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin

    Then use its "CSS Code" section of the dashboard to hold your CSS modifications.

    Okay I now see your Custom CSS in your page.

    You have this in it:

    @media all and (max-width: 480px) {
    &    nbsp;   .sliderclass {
                    display: none

        }
    }

    Did you copy the code I posted from like your email? It can get corrupted that way.

            display: none;
        }

    Should I still put this too?

    Yes, that would be good to help us debug why the CSS isn't working.

     border: 10px solid red !important;
    }
