As documented over the last 3 years by many posters this has been a problem with your wordpress plug in. If you use attachment fixed on background pictures (which is one of the main reasons to use your page builder to add flare to a website) then once an ipad is turned to landscape mode the pictures will zoom in so much you just see a very very small section grainy, horrible and unrecognizable. It does not matter if you try to build two images with responsive settings as your responsive design only removes images for tablet and mobile in portrait mode which has no problem showing correctly. We all understand that fixed picture position does not work on Tablet or Phone and it switches to scroll mode which is fine and works on phones, tablet portrait BUT NOT landscape and does not change if you edit the background image container in tablet mode to a different setting. It also does not matter how large or small of a picture you use. We have all spent far more time trying to work around this then it would take to fix this issue.

Many have asked many have attempted just trying to see if you are ever going to fix this or if I need to cancel my subscription on 5 websites and use another product.

I have no idea what git hub is this is posted at Elementor which is the page builder many people have noted this problem with for years the fixed backdrop pictures do not adjust properly for ipad when they convert to scroll in landscape modethey work fine on all other mobile devices just not larger tablets (Andriod as well if over 9″ screen horizontally).

I see from the lack of response and this on going issue with a MAJOR feature of your website (fixed images are used on 30% of responsive websites) that I must go to another page builder vs having 5% of my users have a horrible experience with your product …

    Hi

I’ll explain how our GitHub works – GitHub is one of the social networks where any of our users can post their suggestions and workarounds for the code.

Currently, development/custom code queries (custom widgets and functions, Theme Child, custom code and CSS, BETA testing issues, compatibility issues, etc.) have to be directed to our GitHub project, where our developers will be able to assist. Kindly note that our GitHub project is not a support channel; therefore, the response times may vary. We appreciate your understanding.

I hope this helps. If I missed something, please reply if you have any further questions regarding this ticket and Elementor. I’d request that you open a new ticket for any other issue; this will allow us to give you more accurate support.

Landscape mode on iPad as noted above has been causing me problems as well. I am a novice, but I think I finally found a fix that maybe will help, at least it was a fix for me. I tried to upload an image on my computer screen, but was not allowed. So, In Elementor, I went to edit the section. Clicked on “Style.” I then set “image size” as Full. “Attachment” as Scroll. “Repeat” as Default. “Display Size” as Cover. This fixed my issue in landscape mode on my iPad.

For anyone looking for a solution for this issue with background-attachment: fixed; on tablets (mainly iPadOS) in landscape mode – please see my workaround https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/10951#issuecomment-1820007878 .
