  • The Safari browser does not work on my iMac or iPad. When I attempt to log on as an administrator, everything on the right-hand edge of the blog vanishes. Gone are recent comments, categories, blogroll, etc.

    This same problem occurs when I use the iPad. I conclude it is an issue with Safari as Firefox works on the iMac and both Firefox and Explorer work on the Windows platform.

    Does anyone have a browser on their iPad that will permit one to edit and compose blogs? I tried the Atomic broswer on the iPad and it creates the same vanishing problem.

    Safari should work just fine on your iMac. That’s coincidentally what I use every day (an iMac and Safari).

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 – 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can sometimes interfere with the admin panel).
