# IP Location Info – feature request

 * Thank you for creating such a useful plug-in. I was using Limit Login Attempts
   and getting a lot of lockouts, so I wanted to see more detail (attempts/etc) 
   so I installed your Activity Monitor plug in.
 * One thing I wanted was to see who/where the login attempts were coming from. 
   You can manually do this one at a time online, but after some searching I found
   that you can do it via an API call to IPInfoDB.com for free. Based on the example
   code provided on their site, I added in this capability to Activity Monitor.

 * I’d love to see this as an official feature in future versions of Activity Monitor,
   and I’d be happy to share the code I added/changed.

 * I like this idea, but only if the service is optional and, when active, handled
   asynchronously to avoid massive page load delay.
 * You might look into how [WP Slim Stat](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-slimstat/)
   handles geolocation since it is a service available in the plugin. I know the
   plugin maintains a local table with location records to reduce page loads time
   inherent when retrieving from a remote service.
