    Hi,

how can i allow an IP of a website in Wordfence Security?
Installation of an API is being blocked by Wordfence Security.

    Thanks

Hi @kklo, thanks for your message!

In the case of a plugin or API call being blocked, I would look towards Live Traffic for blocks matching the timestamp when the behavior occurred. You can see which rule caused the block by clicking the entry (or “eye” icon) to expand it. Sometimes you are presented with an “ADD PARAM TO FIREWALL ALLOWLIST” button here that could solve the problem going forward.

If you don’t see that button, it could be worth putting the firewall in Learning Mode for a period of testing. From the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now perform or trigger the actions that were causing issues. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hi, @wfpeter

    my version is free.
ADD PARAM TO FIREWALL ALLOWLIST, like IP, but the IP is dynamic and is always changing.
    Still does not work
