# IOS wordpress app: Error loading plugins. Self-hosted site.

 * I am running a self hosted site on my own LEMP server. I have successfully set
   up wordpress and have a site running. I am also using the iPhone/iOS app for 
   access to the mysite.com/wp-login.php page. I can successfully log into my self-
   hosted site in my iOS wordpress app on iPhone. Everything works EXCEPT, when 
   trying to access the plugins page on iOS i get the following error:
 * “Error loading plugins Try again”
 * I am assusming this may be due to a permissions problem in my wordpress folder,
   but I really have no idea how to debug and solve this issue. I would really like
   to access my plugins page on iOS. Can someone please advice me here? Thanks!

 * Hey t-p [@t-p](https://wordpress.org/support/users/t-p/), this was very little
   help. However, I have made progress in debugging the problem, (Although not yet
   truly solved). On my self-hosted LEMP server I had to disable the Nginx [modsecurity module](https://github.com/SpiderLabs/ModSecurity),
   and now everything in my wordpress site works. However, this creates a security
   issue that I would like to quickly fix. Are you familiar with the [Nginx modsecurity module](https://github.com/SpiderLabs/ModSecurity)
   at all, and is there any way to create some sort of exceptions for the wordpress
   iOS app in [Nginx’s Modsecurity module](https://github.com/SpiderLabs/ModSecurity)?
   This seems to be where the problem lies.
