iOS/Safari scroll and menu issues after optimization
-
Hi Elementor Support,
I’m experiencing a critical issue with one of our client websites built using Elementor. The website works perfectly on desktop (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and also on Android devices. However, on iOS (iPhone/iPad) — including Safari, Chrome, and Firefox — the following issues occur:
- The header loads, but the mobile menu is not clickable
- Scrolling is frozen or very choppy — the screen becomes blank/white after a small scroll
- The entire site becomes unusable on iOS devices
We’ve tried the following steps without success:
- Disabled all Elementor Experiments
- Regenerated CSS via Elementor > Tools
- Cleared all cache (browser, plugin, server-side, and CDN)
- Tried adding the suggested CSS fixes like: cssMásolásSzerkesztés
.site-content-wrapper { overflow-y: hidden; } .x-root { overflow: hidden; } - Disabled performance plugins (like Breeze) and even disabled the CDN
- Verified everything is updated (Elementor core, theme, WordPress)
- Tested on multiple devices (iPhone 12, iPhone 14 Pro, Safari/Chrome/Firefox)
We believe this might be related to DOM structure, z-index, or CSS overflow issues specific to Safari/iOS, but we can’t isolate the exact cause.
Could you please advise what may cause Elementor to behave this way on iOS?
Any help or debug guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thank you so much in advance!
