# Invoice status

 * Is it an easy task to add another status option of “Shipped” to the Invoice status
   list which currently has; Cancelled, Draft, Overdue, Paid & Unpaid?

 * If you are comfortable with code it is easy enough to do… really all you have
   to do is [insert a new term](https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_insert_term)“
   Shipped” into the taxonomy “invoice_status”.
 * Other than that, there isn’t currently any way to make custom statuses without
   at least a little coding. But you are welcome to open a [feature request](https://slicedinvoices.com/developers/feature-requests/)
   if you think it’s something we should add.
