Hey @hrrd,
It looks like changing the font might create the problem. The standard font (Open Sans) supports these letters. Here you can find a screenshot of my test setup: Invoice
With kind regards,

Hey,
thanks for your response.
I had the same problem with the standard font – Open Sans, that’s why I changed the font.
Is there any other solution?
Thanks!

Hi! Was that before or after installing MB String? MB String is essential for this, so please double check that it’s shown as active under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Status. As Michaels screenshot shows (and confirmed in my own tests), the Open Sans font included with the plugin fully supports the Romanian characters:

Hi 🙂
yes, MB string was active.
But, I think I didn’t check if will work after I activate the MS String.
I read another topic forum the MB string and font could be the problem and I change the font in times new roman (that I think supports Romanian) and activate MB string at the same time, without verify.
So now with my MB String activate I put back the Open Sans and is working perfectly.
It’s important first activate MB String and then eventually check the font. 🙂
Thank you both guys for the big help, it’s the first time when I use this plugin, and definitely, I will use this in the future.
Have a nice day!
