Support » Plugin: Google Captcha (reCAPTCHA) by BestWebSoft » Invisible but have to solve captcha every time

My Google key is set up for invisible reCaptcha with Google, and I have the BWS Google Captcha settings on invisible. In Google’s advanced settings, Security Preference is all the way to the left – Easiest for Users.

The login window does indeed have the little Captcha logo in the lower right corner. But every time I try to log in, I have to do the picture selection task. I hate the picture selections above all – you often can’t tell what something is, or if it should be considered in or not. I thought invisible would be just that – no captcha task.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

    Thank you for contacting us!

Could you please activate reCAPTCHA for a while and provide a link to the page where we can test the problem?

Yes, thank you. You can go to https://forestpathology.org/wp-login.php.
You don’t need an actual login, just enter anything and the reCaptcha task window will pop up, at least it does for me.

You can see a screenshot of my reCaptcha settings here:

    Hi,

Thank you for the link provided!

We visited your site and successfully registered a test user.
Could you please confirm that you still need our help?

Thank you for testing. The question is, did you have to complete a captcha task? My understanding is that should not happen if it is set to invisible, which it is. I just had to do one in order to log in.

    Hi,

We made a test registration without a necessity to complete the reCAPTCHA task.
Google’s reCAPTCHA uses a variety of tests, including request tracking, page interaction tracking, scroll tracking, and keystroke tracking to attempt to detect if the user on the site is human.
However, you can set the security preferences on the following page: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin#list.
