# Inventory/Stock Quanity

 * Inventory > Stock Qty – It states: Stock quantity. If this is a variable product
   this value will be used to
    control stock for all variations, unless you define
   stock at variation level.
 * I have set this Qty to 300. I’ve left all the quanities at the variation level
   at 0.
 * When you go in to purchase the item, it’s showing as out of stock.
    Please help.
