Invalid username on login

I installed WordPress on the following domain:
http://www.onlinewealthmethods.com/blog but I really want it to point to the root directory so i went into settings and took blog off the end of the domain. The next itme i tried to log in i got Invalid username message so i reregistered my username reset my password but i still get the same message when i try to login.
Please help!
