    Hey benn213,

It looks like you are using another plugin or part of your theme. Take a look at this FAQ for some help:

Hi Craig, im so sorry but i still dont get this at all. I tried that but i dont really know what else im supposed to do. I just went to the widgets, pasted [instagram-feed] into a text widget and that was it.

I feel like im missing a few steps or something. Could you guide me through this as im completely not understanding how to get this up and running from the FAQ and other forum suggestions.

I just want to embed the instagram feed onto the gallery page underneath the page title and main photo. Am i actually using the wrong plugin? should i delete and download a different one? Whats the name of the correct one if so. Thanks

    Hey benn213,

You can definitely use our plugin to do what you are describing. We don’t have anything in our plugin that gives an error “invalid shortcode” so that’s why I’m thinking you had another instagram plugin installed.

    Try these steps:

    1) Go to the “Plugins” menu from your dashboard
    2) Find “Instagram Feed” by Smashballoon and make sure it is “Active”
    3) Hover over the “Appearance” menu and select “Widgets”
    4) From the left side of the main screen, add a plain “text” widget to the appropriate widget area (something like “footer widget area” most likely)
    5) Now find the “text” widget you just added on the right side of the main screen and add the shortcode [instagram-feed].
    6) Save your changes

You should also make sure you clear any cache you might have. Don’t worry about this if you are unsure about what it means.
