When trying to get PayPal account set up, I can’t seem to get the sandbox secret to be accepted. I read a similar thread here and tried the recommended steps there:

    1. Deleted and created new rest API app
    2. Installed on test environment (but the same sandbox secret works there)
    3. I’ve updated the test environment so all plugins versions are the same, themes are the same, php version is the same. Not sure what is different now. The Dev site is a shared hosted manual install of wordpress, while production is on Dreampress – so that server is different??

Any other suggestions to try to figure out why production site thinks this sandbox secret key is invalid?

    Hello @fredandcharlie,

If that works on the staging site, I suppose there should be some issue on the production. I do not think this would be related, but could you take a site backup, disable all other plugins, make a fresh Paypal sandbox app and then give a test?

Do let me know if that works for you.

    Thank you,

Still same error on the sandbox secret. I disabled all plugins except Forminator, and created a new sandbox app.

    Hi @fredandcharlie

    Sorry for the delay here,

Do you have Object cache on the website that is returning the issue?

If so, can you try to flush the object cache and add the keys back

In case the issue persists, we will need to take a deep look.
