# Invalid post type

 * Hello,
 * I have no problem as the admin adding a new badge to an achievement type I created.
   But other users who are not admins are unable to do so.
 * The achievement type is named Course. Under Course the users can view what has
   already been created, but clicking the Add New button gives them the error “Invalid
   post type”
 * The URL the Add New button takes them to is: [https://myURL/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=course](https://myURL/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=course)
 * Does anyone know why this is happening?

 * From the looks of our post type registration code, those areas would be controlled
   by the “Minimum role” setting in the BadgeOS settings area. I wager that’s still
   at the admin level, and not editor.

 * I have the User Role Editor plugin and created a new role for those creating 
   LearnDash courses. Once I added them to the Editor role and changed the BadgeOS
   Minimum role setting from Admin to Editor, everything worked as expected.
