Hello @aidanashby,
Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
That is a known issue and is fixed internally.
For now, you can also downgrade to the older version by following this tutorial:
https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#a-how-to-rollback-rank-math-to-a-previous-version
Once the fix is released, we will let you know.
Hope that helps.
Having the exact same issue, also a rollback doesn’t seem to fix this?
Is there any ETA for the update?
Hello @aidanashby
It seems like you already updated to the latest version of the plugin and that has fixed the issue:

Hello @brightidiots
Please update to the latest version, 1.0.48.2
That should fix the issue.
If not, please open a new support topic.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
hi it seams google is also showing that my website has “invalid object type for field ‘publisher’. netmajstor is there a way to fix this ? tx
I have the same issue with 1.0.48.2.
Google’s Rich Results test reports it as “invalid object type for field ‘publisher’
I have reverted to RankMath 1.0.47.1 which resolved the issue for now. Please fix, thank you.

Also the AMP-issue still isn’t resolved, getting the same error with new AMP-checks.
Hello @deansurfer, @wfz123, @brightidiots
Please open new support topics separately here:
https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/seo-by-rank-math/#new-topic-0
or on our website:
https://support.rankmath.com/
We will be able to help better that way.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
For anyone having the error: Invalid object type for field ‘publisher’ using the RankMath plugin.
Go to RankMath Settings > Titles and Metas > Local SEO. Change Person or Company to match the correct values. I had my website address as a “Person”, which is not allowed in Google AMP validation.

@wfz123 Mine’s already set to Organization
It is not about Organization, it is about what matches you as a person or a company. Try editing the value (change company name, or person name) and test again, clear cache/disable caching before checking

@wfz123 My website is a company website and I’ve never had the Person or Company field set to person, therefore there can’t possibly be any incorrect value cached.
Hello @aidanashby
We released a quick Beta update you can try to see if that helps.
Please enable the Beta update by following this:
https://rankmath.com/kb/version-control/#beta-updates
https://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Rank-Math-Beta-Testing.jpg
If you are unable to see an update, please clear Rank Math’s transients from:
WP Dashboard >> Rank Math >> Status & Tools >> Database Tools >> Remove Rank Math Transients >> Remove transients
https://i.rankmath.com/Pbu5J6
Please clear the caches from the server and WordPress after updating.
You can disable the Beta updates once you update to the latest version and see if the issue is fixed.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
