# Invalid JSON response

 * Im getting lately a lot of: “message”: “The response is not a valid JSON response.
   From CF7 preventing the forms to be sent.
 * I have tried unchecking every option with no luck. Once the plugin is deactivated
   it all works properly.
   Ver: 0.7.6 + WP 7.0.4 + CF7 6.1.7 + Flamingo 2.6.4
 * Any ideas?

 * thanks for reporting this.
 * The “response is not a valid JSON response” error usually means that the Contact
   Form 7 REST request is returning something unexpected instead of valid JSON.
 * Since the form works again when AntiSpam is disabled, there may be a conflict
   or compatibility issue somewhere, so it would be useful to see the actual error
   before making assumptions.
 * Could you please check:
    - Browser Developer Tools → **Console**, and see if any errors appear when submitting
      the form.
    - Developer Tools → **Network**, find the CF7 request to `/wp-json/contact-form-
      7/.../feedback` and check its status code and the **Response** tab.
    - If possible, enable `WP_DEBUG_LOG` and check `wp-content/debug.log` after 
      reproducing the problem.
 * Even a screenshot of the Console and the Network response would be very helpful.
