# ‘Invalid JSON’ preventing update

 * On one of my sites, on WP 5.5.1 and a recently PHP 7, I am having repeated difficulty
   updating a page that has already been published.
 * I am adding a link to another page, and a link to a video
 * However if I simply add a separator in Gutenberg, I get the same error message:
 * “Updating failed. Invalid JSON body passed”
 * I don’t know what that means… but I do know that it hasn’t updated.
 * My hosting provider hints that there is a general problem affecting WordPress
   out there at the moment.I want to know if there is a fix or a workaround

   console of the inspect elements.

 * Ask your host if they have a limit on post size or are using mod_security. It’s
   probably an issue with one of those things.
