It’s been months already with this unresolved issue on displaying featured image thumbnail when sharing to Facebook.

When tested through facebook sharing debugger, it returns this warning: Provided og:image URL, could not be processed as an image because it has an invalid content type.

I have forced social meta tags facebook title, facebook desc, and facebook image with yoast seo but it’s not displaying.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

We checked on the page and do see that the Open Graph metadata for the image is being output correctly. Facebook sees the image but it still appears to have issues with the content type. Yoast SEO is outputting the correct image URL in the source code so the next step would be to determine why your server returns a content type that is not compatible with Facebook.

If the error appears only for this specific image, there is likely something in the image that is invalid.

If the error appears from multiple images, there is likely something in your setup (or server) that causes the issue.

In either case, the issue is outside of Yoast SEO. Please ensure the image is saved correctly and that your server uses the correct content type.
