I’m receiving an Invalid Feed URL warning. Using the “Force the Feed” option doesn’t help.

My debug log shows the same thing every time:

    [13-05-2017 08:24:39] [Error] WPRSS > wprss_get_feed_items:
Failed to fetch feed “”. fsockopen error:

I’ve tested that feed (“”) in your demo site and it works there.

I’ve also tried it on my site with a default theme and the other add-ons removed.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @marauxus,

If you can get it work on our demo, there’s a chance that the problem might be on your server setup. Moreover, you have the fsockopen error that we believe it’s on the server side.

Can you please contact your hosting provider and ask them regarding this problem?

Also, if you used our premium add-ons and would need further assistance with this, please open a Support Ticket here.

I am the hosting provider! 🙂

Was hoping you guys could point me in the right direction, I’m unfamiliar with how your system grabs RSS feeds.

    Hi @marauxus,

First, can you please first check if your server supports fsockopen by going to your WP Admin > RSS Aggregator > Debugging and check you System Information?

Here’s a sample screenshot of what it should look like:

    support fsockopen

Please let us know your finding.

    Thanks for the reply!

Looks like we didn’t have that configured correctly, all set now!
