Support » Plugin: Campaign Monitor Synchronization » Invalid email aborts sync?

    Hi Carlo,

    I ran into the following error.

    Subscriber Import had some failures
    Error details: {"TotalUniqueEmailsSubmitted":83,"TotalExistingSubscribers":36,"TotalNewSubscribers":46,"DuplicateEmailsInSubmission":[],"FailureDetails":[{"EmailAddress":"foo.foo.@foo.com","Code":1,"Message":"Invalid Email Address"}]}

    This error happening is not terrible on it’s own. It’s very useful! I changed foo.foo.@foo.com to foo.foo@foo.com and resolved it.

    However it appears that this error happening stopped the rest of the sync from happening. If I simplify it a bit: All users A to F were synced, but F to Z were skipped.

    Would it be possible to skip the user(s) with the invalid email address(es) instead of aborting the sync?

    Hi Tim,
    Since my plugin uses the API provided by CampaignMonitor, there is not much I can do myself. I would suggest to validate email addresses the moment they are created in WP (e.i., use form validation).
    Good luck, Carlo
