I receive numerous instances of “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <my domain>/wp-content/plugins/mendeleyplugin/wp-mendeley.php on line 1429”. These show-up in preview, not when the page is published, and the reference list is delivered to the page.

    More information:

    1. I was mistaken: this appears in published pages, not just previews.
    2. It is connected to the use of grouping attributes, specifically: “groupby=”years” groupbyorder=”desc”. Without these, there are no warnings.
    3. Only a subset of items are returned when this warning appears. It’s not obvious what determines the subset.

The problem (error in line 1429) was due to Mendeley not providing an (empty) tag array. I now added code to check for this.
