  • It seems to be because no images have been moderated yet.

The video on the bottom of this page shows how to moderate. Once you have selected some images to pull into the feed, the invalid argument warning should go away.

Currently my moderation panel isn’t pulling from the Instagram account and I’m trying to troubleshoot, so I can’t confirm this, but it’s a strong suspicion.

    Thanks for your respond.

I don’t think that is the problem. The moderation is only for Premium, but I wan’t to use it only the free version.

I just need to show my Instagram pictures on a wordpress page.

    Any idea?

Looks like Instagram has killed API access to the feed:

I don’t think you’ll be able to fix it.

@jakept we are just studying about this news and if it will be necessary we will develop an update for our plugin.
In this moment our plugin works correctly.

@tupacan is your instagram account private?

No, the account privacy is set to public.
I tried with few Instagram accounts.

    Any other idea?

    Thanks.

Hey guys! Same problem here. Profile privacy is set to public too. Any update? Thanks!

Same problem here, Instagram seems to have changed it’s sandbox/api permissions. I’ve used this on several client’s sites and this is the first time this has happened. I know there’s plenty of other instagram feed plugins out there but this is my favorite, please find a fix asap. My client’s instagram is also public.

It really does look like the API is the issue. @mediabeta Are you certain the plugin should still be working? It’s important to test with brand new developer accounts. If users set up their keys prior to the change they’ll probably still work, but we’re concerned about new users.

thank you everyone for your notices and feedbacks.

The new applications are put from Instagram in Sandbox Mode but in these days it seems that you can’t try it because
Instagram will begin reviewing new and existing apps starting December 3, 2015 before granting full API access.

Have you app in Sandbox mode? and could you click now on “Go live” button?

    Thanks in particular to @jakept
    Thanks @monstertaco for your appreciations

    Hey mediabeta!

I have the app in Sandbox mode, I see the button but it’s not clickable. Sorry can’t help more than that :/

    Thanks!

    Hi mdeiabeta,

Since you directed me here from my post, I’ll respond here, hope that’s okay. I’m no developer, but per Instagram’s Sandbox documentation:

“This is a fully functional environment that allows you to test publicly available API endpoints”

Could the deprecation of endpoints be causing an issue? Per

    https://instagram.com/developer/changelog/

    Deprecation of /users/self/feed
    Deprecation of /media/popular
    Deprecation of /geographies/media/recent
Deprecation of Realtime subscriptions for tags, locations and geographies

Does the plugin use any of those endpoints?

How would the customer (a non-technical person) verify whether or not their Instagram API is in Sandbox mode? Additionally, how will they ever work through the process of getting their API approved by Instagram. Isn’t there an easier way to do this that doesn’t make the website owner jump through so many hoops?

    Thanks!
    Christi

Hi, i not sure actually how this works. But shouldn’t it be mediabeta who are the one that need to send their plugin to instagram for review and grant “enjoy instagram” go live? Then user can use this plugin.

@maxisthemax Enjoy Instagram gets the user to create their own application to link with the plugin.

We published this afternoon a new version of Enjoy Instagram.

    Please, download 2.0 version

Remember to disinstall the old version before install the new one.

Hi – I’m still getting the error message after installing the new version (I deleted the old one and then re-installed installed as you suggested above) – Error is:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home4/jordans4/public_html/castlerockranchcamp.com/2014/wp-content/plugins/enjoy-instagram-instagram-responsive-images-gallery-and-carousel/library/enjoyinstagram_shortcode_grid.php on line 31

Any others still having this issue?

    Thanks
