We run multiple WP sites, and we use the duplicator plugin to make backups, move development sites to production etc. This has always worked fine. * Now we are making a package, no errors, doing the same as always. But when placing the file on another domain we get the following error: Invalid Archive Format Detected! * The faq suggestion is that my MAC might unpack it automaticly. This is not the case, I uploaded the zipped file to the server, same as always, from the same system, to the same server. The faq also says something about all the necessary file in the root folder. ‘The archive should have files such wp-config.php, index. php, wp-login.php and directories such as wp-admin, wp-includes etc. at the root of the archive.zip file, not inside a nested folder. To get a raw copy of the archive.zip file check the wp-snapshots folder in the root of your live WordPress site for Duplicator Lite’ This is also the case, I unpacked the package and checked its contents (twice, once via the regular package download, once took the file directly from the snapshots folder via ftp). Both have the same contents. * We tried it on another server. Same problem. * The package is made on a website, recently updated to the latest WP version, plugins updated. Also the duplicator plugin (Version 1.2.8). PHP7. The domain setup is the same as all the others. * To my knowledge we do everything exactly the same as on other domains. But now we get this error. If you can give the developer version a try it may have the updates for your issue. The very latest version (1.2.9) can be found by following these instructions: * > [Download Latest Version](https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/duplicator.zip) > Uninstall your current version and install this one. * When building the package on step 2 be sure to pay attention to any scan warnings. Sometimes a file path that is too long or certain utf8 characters can cause issues with the archive. Made a package, transferred it to a test domain on the same server. Now I do not get an error. When is this patch going live? as mentioned in previous post, we have some updating to do this week.
