Introduction Title & Copy Won't Appear

No matter what I do, my intro title & intro copy don’t appear, so the page doesn’t convey the message I wish to convey. Since the operators are there as options, I assume I’m supposed to have control of the message on the maintenance page.
If only this form would allow images, I would show how the fields are filled in and then how the page shows none of that.
How do you work it?
