# Intra-post boxed content?

 * I was wondering if anyone had any plugin or coding suggestions for adding contextual,
   in-post additional content to an article.
 * Traditionally, they would use the word “sidebar” in publishing to describe this.
   But I’m avoiding using that word since sidebar in WordPress means the right and
   left sides of a post.
 * I’m referring to different, but contextually related information.
 * For example, take a look at Wired.com since they do this a lot. On [this post](http://www.wired.com/magazine/2010/02/ff_futureofmoney)
   about the future of money, there is a sidebar inside the article on it’s right
   side entitled “Money Over Time”.
 * That’s what I want to do!
 * I want to be able to place it like I can place a picture – in the article, but
   text can flow around it.
 * But it doesn’t seem possible out of the box. And I don’t know what keywords to
   search for since sidebar turns up so much other stuff.
 * I had some ideas:
 * – Maybe use a <div> with a custom defined class and some custom Javascript and
   CSS to render it.
    – Or maybe, it’s a job for an iFrame.
 * Any thoughts?

 * Thanks for the tip alchymyth! Looks like there’s just one such solution using
   the term ‘callout’, but it looks good.
 * For anyone interested, the plugin is called “[Insert Callout](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/insert-callout/)“.
 * And [this post here](http://blog.componentoriented.com/2010/01/choosing-a-linux-distribution/)
   seems to be a sample of its use.
