# Internet Explorer log in problem

 * Hi,
 * Here’s my problem:
 * When using Internet explorer I can’t log in to my website.
    I type in my user
   name and password , and i just get redirected to the same log in page. I’ve read
   some topics but none helped me. Trying to clear the cache and cookies didn’t 
   do anything.
 * When using any other browser it works fine.

 * Yeah , But deactivating my plug ins would result in a useless website.
    Whats
   causing this problem with IE ? (except IE being utterly cr*p)

 *  The idea is to deactivate so as to identify which plugin (if any) is causing
   the problem. You should also try the default theme to see if it is a theme problem.
 * Quite honestly, IE (7 and 8) are very seldom the real problem.

 * i’m facing exactly the same pb. Just reinstalled the wordpress and none of the
   plugin is activated yet. So i doubt that it’s the plugin which causes the pb.

 * Problem solved.
    It was caused by an underscore in the sub-domain name.
