Internet Explorer dropdown selection and add to cart issue

I’m very close to bashing my head on my keyboard trying to solve an issue my site is experiencing with internet explorer. When I’m on the product page, whatever variation I select, it doesn’t make the add to cart button appear. It seems that the ‘clear selection’ button is out even before I select anything.

I got to the developer tools in ie (F12) and the console told me something like this :

SCRIPT438: Object doesn’t support property or method ‘cookie’
cart-fragments.min.js?ver=2.2.10, line 1 character 1290

At times, the browser loads without that line and the add to cart shows up, the clear selection will appear only after I make selections. There’s nothing wrong with my variations as this is working on chrome, firefox, opera, safari, everything but internet explorer.
I disabled all plugins, cleared cookies, accepted cookie in ie, and now I’m out of ideas.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
