Hi madmedic10,
Unfortunately Internet Explorer is very scratchy when it comes to support of CSS3 features.
Due to the fact that media queries are used for determining when the responsive menu is shown/hidden these weren’t supported until IE9, please see the link below:
http://caniuse.com/css-mediaqueries
There are a few JavaScript plug-ins that can work around this up to a point but whether they are compatible with my plug-in or how effective they are I wouldn’t be able to say unfortunately.
I have used this previously on responsive projects that for some reason needed to be supported on IE < 9 and it worked quite well. You could give it a try.

It would be interesting to know how you get on with that and my plug-in in terms of compatibility etc.
Sorry I cant help any further with this but unfortunately Microsoft were living very much in the past for many years with their Internet Explorer browser!
Many thanks
Peter
Good call. For desktop, i ended up just replicating the look of your plugin by using an image of a mobile nav for the drop down menu so it would be compatible in every browser. Thanks for the quick response. Its a pretty high end project, so i would like to donate to the plugin, as soon as i figure out where to do so. Thanks again.
Hi madmedic10,
Thanks very much for the offer. I don’t generally publish information about donations as I am a bit shy about accepting these but if you would like to you can on the following link:
http://www.peterfeatherstone.com/donate/
There is of course no obligation to do so at all as I am happy to provide support and updates for free.
The 1.9 version soon to be released includes an option to use an image for the click button rather than the default 3 lines, which could potentially help with your issue.
Please let me know if you need anything else adding to the plug-in and I will look to accommodate.
I plan to release the 1.9 version by the end of today so you will have to get any requests in early if they are to make it into this version, but I can certainly add to the 1.10 release.
Thanks again for using the plug-in.
Peter
Hi madmedic10,
The 1.9 version is out if you would like to test out.
Many thanks
Peter
