 * Hi.
 * Just setup WP/MySQL/php on a local server in my home. While editing and making
   changes to the design/theme I asked a friend to view and give feedback — I’m 
   having an issue with being on the same network as the blog is stored and cannot
   view it internally. I use elizabeth.rni.local to view my page while others use
   [http://www.elizabethashwood.com/](http://www.elizabethashwood.com/). Is there
   a way in the options panel to manipulate the addresses such that — the page shows
   for external viewers and also for me? I read through the support files and closest
   thing I found to this same issue I’m having was : [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/16292](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/16292).
 * In the options panel — when I set the blog URL and wordpress location to [http://www.elizabethashwood.com/](http://www.elizabethashwood.com/)
   it looks great/complete to external viewers — however, it appears “bare boned”
   to me and I have lots of difficulties getting the wp-admin page to load. I believe
   this is an issue because of our firewall perhaps?

 * Husband informed me it was my DNS records that needed to be altered and played
   with a bit. Sorry for the blabber.
