• Hello, and thanks for any help.

Since this morning I am getting internal server errors on a parent page and any child page associated with it – about 90% of the time. Sometimes refreshing the page will bring it up, sometimes it won’t. Whether I type the address in to the browser manually or click on a link within the header or page, it does not seem to make a difference.

I have done all of the troubleshooting with the htaccess file, inactivating plugins, resaving permalink page, and changing themes. The only thing that seems to make everything work again is when I change the theme from weaverII child to anything else. I rebuilt the child theme from scratch but the internal server 500 error comes back once activating the child theme again.

Additional history: It has been a week since I updated the wordpress version, and things were fine until this morning when I created a new post that I associated with a category, and that category happens to have the same name as the page that displays the category (not sure if that is an issue but hasn’t been in the past), and the page happens to be associated with the parent page in question.

Any advice or help would be helpful. Thanks!
