Internal Server Error when validating AMP

    I am trying to use transitional mode and I keep getting the error:

    ‘Transitional mode activated! However, there was an error when checking the AMP validity for your site. Internal Server Error.’

    I threw my site into troubleshooting mode, disabled all plugins (including theme), cleared cache(s), spoke with my hosting company who verified they aren’t the reason for the issue but I cannot figure out what is causing the problem. Same thing occurs with Standard mode. Any help would be appreciated.
