    Hi,
I installed WordPress on my webhost with no problems. However things have not gone as smoothly when I tried to install it on my test server here at home. The actual install went fine. When I attempt to access the blog itself
(http://localhost/wordpress) I get the internal server error message and when I attempt to log in as admin (http://localhost/wordpress/wp-login.php) I get the login screen but when I submit the form I get the same internal server error message. I checked the Apache error log and found this:

    [Sun Apr 08 20:37:04 2007] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] malformed header from script. Bad header=HTTP/1.1 200 OK: c:/apache/php/php.exe.

The version of PHP I am running is 4.1.1.

Looks like an issue with PHP being run as a CGI. Did you compile it yourself or was this a download?

PHPtiad installed MySQL Apache and PHP, I did not compile myself. I checked both the PHPinfo on my server as well as the one on my webhost paying particular attention to the word CGI and found that
the server API that both are using is CGI. Is there some change I need to make in the PHP.ini?
