Hey, the Virtue/Pinnacle Toolkit is designed to work alongside the free versions of Virtue and Pinnacle. Try deactivating other plugins and see if you still get this error.

I did deactivate & re-activate each plugin one by one.. and it’s the Virtue/Pinnacle Toolkit 2.5 version is causing the error. What I did to fix is downgrade it to 2.1 instead because the 2.2-2.4 versions also give me the same error.
I haven’t heard of this issue from anyone else. What version of the theme are you using? Do you have the latest version of wordpress?

Hi guys,
I actually have the exact same problem but with Pinnacle theme.
After I activated the Toolkit some of my posts became all of a sudden gave me the Internal Error page.
I tried to upgrade to V 2.7 but same thing, after I deactivated it it all worked fine.
I have Version 4.1 of WordPress and Pinnacle v 1.1.8.
After reading this I will try to downgrade to version 2.1, but it’s definitely a bug that needs to be fixed…
Thanks
Carolina
carolinarin, Can you give me a little more information? I have tested the virtue toolkit with the pinnacle theme and don’t get any errors?
Can you tell me what the error says? Also on what posts? all or just some and if some what is the difference with the posts? is this happening on the front end or admin?
Thanks.

Hi! Thank you for your reply.
For some reasons it gives me the error only when I try to open posts from summer 2013, the ones before and after work fine (besides a couple of exceptions). All from the admin.
It gives me 2 error codes:
– Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

When I deactivated the toolkit, everything worked fine. However I lost the portfolio options so decided to activate it again, and now the posts dont work as well as my portfolios disappeared – even though I still see them from my Dashboard.
I am currently using Theme Test Drive plugin to edit the blog before publishing it…
Let me know if you need any further info.
Thanks
Carolina
Hey Carolina, try deactivating the theme test drive plugin and activate pinnacle toolkit. If that doesn’t work try deactivating the rest of your plugins one by one, but keeping toolkit active. Let me know if the problem remains!
You are using the free version of pinnacle, correct?
