Support » Plugin: Newsletter » Internal Server Error on subscriptions

  • Hi my name is Andrea, I use newsletter plug-in on my blog http://www.iovo.it (hosting linux on Aruba) since 2010 (now I’m using version 3.0.7), trying to subscribe to my newsletter using the widget on the right sidebar I get this message

    “Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, postmaster@iovo.it and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”

I found something about this issue at this link http://www.satollo.net/plugins/newsletter/newsletter-faq

“I get a “Internal Server Error” on subscription confirmation or unsubscription confirmation (Aruba users, read this!)

Newsletter calls the “do.php” file stored inside it’s folder. Some providers, some configurations or some security procedures can change the file permission so it cannot be executed (while it should).”

But actually I don’t know how to solve my problem…

    thanks for your time

    kind regards

    Andrea

Probably you’re hosted on Aruba: enter they administration panel and restore the file permission.

    Stefano.
