    Have you tried deactivating other plugins and checking it?

    Recently the download monitor stopped working properly for me.
    It doesn’t allow downloading files anymore.

    Did you update any plugins, theme or WordPress?

    The URL link above, is that the link to a download file?

    Found a solution that worked – switched to another download monitor plugin…

    WooCommerce’s latest release was causing this issue. I have released an updated version that will get around the issue. Please upgrade to v3.1.9 and you won’t see the issue.

    I’ve just installed the Jetpack plugin but I couldn’t get it to work as it came up with the following error:

    Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://www.villageways.co.uk/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML‑RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank links or extra output anywhere.

    I checked the php file and it actually read:

    var sdm_frontend_translations = {incorrect_password: ‘Incorrect Password’};

    </script>
    XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

    I can confirm I am running your very latest version of the plugin.

    So …. I deactivated your plugin which enabled me to install Jetpack successfully.

    I then went back and reactivated Simple Download Manager …. I’ve tested your plugin and it appears to be working okay.

    So I no longer have a problem, but don’t know whether my input helps or not.
