  • It looks to me as if it might just be be a misplaced or corrupted file. Database seems to be intact.

  • I did an upgrade to 2.7.1 last week. No problems after the upgrade.

I added some plugins yesterday and deleted some of the ones which were inactive. All the sudden, *poof*. Blog gone.

I tried reinstalling the old backup files from the old version, and got a blank screen.

    Don’t know what to do.

The most common causes of this are problems with your web host’s server (contact them) or with a bad .htaccess file (rename it to deactivate it). .htaccess files are invisible, and you have to set your ftp program to show invisibles.

I can see the .htaccess file. It actually looks fine.

I also just deactivated all the plugins (via the database) and it still is getting a server error.

One more thing, this is a dedicated server and my other blogs run just fine. So I don’t think it’s a server problem

OK – I renamed the .htaccess file and the admin screens came up, but the page is blank for the blog itself.

OK – changed themes to WordPress original and now the blog comes up, but I don’t really want this theme. What’s with all that?

saying the obvious: if your site comes up with the default theme, but not with another, its a theme issue — maybe a plugin thats been added to THAT theme, etc..

look in your error logs? what do they say? want more help, specifically one that involves an exchange of cash? then you need to provide a way for ppl to get a hold of you. Then the thread is locked.
