After doing some research I decided to install the WordFence plugin.
The install went great. I decided to go through the optimization which changes the “.htaccess” file. Whenever the change happens, I always get “Internal Server Error” after words. I recover by recovering my original “.htaccess” file and all is good. I would really like to use the full potential of this plugin. Can anyone lead my in the right direction?
    Extra Info:
    -Wordpress Version 5.2.1
    -PHP Version
    -Permalink structure /%postname%/
    -Web server Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu)
-PHP version 7.0.33-0ubuntu0.16.04.4 (Supports 64bit values)
    -PHP memory limit 256M
-Theme . –changed to default and still has the same issue
