Internal server error after assigning domain to site on subdirectory (3 posts)

I'm still pretty new to WordPress and it doesn't take much to make me feel like I'm in over my head.

I'm hosting on Bluehost and have my primary domain and then several sub-directories where I have built several WordPress sites. For each of these subdirectories, I'm gotten what BH considers "add-on domains" and assigned them to those directories.

So.... I just did this with one of my sites and now I'm all messed up.

The add-on domain is http://www.ballerinasabroad.com. This works fine, but each of my pages throw Internal Server errors.

Also, when I go to login through that domain, it resolves to http://emergingchase.com/ballerinasabroad/wp-admin/ (which is my primary domain).

I know I'm screwed things up while attempting to correct the site url and move things around. Any thoughts on how I can get this back on track?

Internal server error is too generic and often caused by the server. Did you contact your host for support?

I've got a support ticket in with them as well. I think I got confused and started following some of the directions to move a site to an existing subdirectory (http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory). I'm thinking the issue could be related to the moving/copying part of the instructions related to the index.php, htaccess and wp-config files?
