• My site is just a simple blog and within the last few months my readers have been getting the internal Server Error message when they click the link in Facebook, when they try to leave comments, when they click links to other posts. My site designer didn’t see anything that might be causing it, and said to contact my host. My host company said they didn’t see anything but maybe it was due to a “custom permalink structure” and that I should put my problem up here. I don’t know what any of this means, lol, I just blog about my kids. So. Help?

  • Do you have a link a post that is problematic? Ask you host for error logs for your site. The “it’s not use, its WP” is a pretty standard go-to for hosts al over (even if it is or was them). Error logs tell everything (most of the time).

The easiest way to get the error message to come up is just to go to the blog and click comments on a post. The error message will come up. http://mrsfatass.com

I seen the error just by clicking on a post. Since there is not error being displayed it would really help if you have logs on the matter.

Also you could try to standard approach of disabling plugins and switch to the default theme to see if the problem sticks around. If so, enable your theme and plugins one by one until the problem occurs again. Then you will know which if any plugin/theme is causing the issue.
