# Internal Server Error

 * I have this come up when i try to go to my site or the admin pannel.Is there 
   any way to fix it?
    Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal 
   error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
 * Please contact the server administrator and inform them of the time the error
   occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
 * More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

 * This is typically caused by a plugin or theme and is a general server error. 
   If you recently installed any plugin or a new theme deactivate them with FTP 
   also

 * if you did change or upgrade nothing and this occurred check with your host and
   also enable error logs on the server as they will show the culprit 🙂 let me 
   know if that helps

 * I use godaddy for this site and i am not sure how to activate or deactivate them
   in the [http://FTP.It](http://FTP.It) diesn`t tell you if they are working or
   not.Just says current.I checked with host and they couldn`t help me.

 * Tell me this, what path did you install WordPress on?
    Is this an existing live
   site? or are you migrating to Go Daddy?
 * Here is basic info on the Internal Server error

 * Here is how you activate error logs, do this immediately.

 * If you can provide the path to the WordPress installation also if it is not on
   the root such as….
 * domain.com/WordPress or
    domain.com/Yoursite for example. If you are unsure about
   this let me know, or contact the host and find out. Go Daddy can tell you where
   it is installed and show you how to enable error logs if you need them too.
