# Internal Pingback

 * I’m having a major problem with my internal pingbacks. Specifically they just
   does not seem to work. I can ping other blogs just fine but linking to my earlier
   post doesn’t show anything… And I can see for a fact that they used to work as
   late as april this year.
 * I tried de-activating all plugins with no succes. Tried reading all the post 
   in this forum on the problem but… no luck.
 * I’m using the Itheme from N-design studios. The newest wordpress, 2.2.2. Not 
   using any spam fighters except Akismet. I’ve checked the “ping” boxes both when
   I post and in the options menu. I link with the http:\\… and not with a relative
   link.
 * I’ve tried just about anything I can imagine… Help?!

 * I had a similar problem under Windows Vista, with XAMPP 1.6.3a (not under XP!).
   Disabling the new User Account Control did not help. Then I changed “localhost”
   to “127.0.0.1” in Options > General, and internal pingbacks worked again.
