# Internal error 500 JetPack

 * As I was trying to install jetpack to my website, [http://www.fomas.nl](http://www.fomas.nl),
   I made a mistake by closing down my tabs. Since that moment it’s impossible for
   me to log in to the admin page of the website. The website itself is still reachable.
 * I’ve tried deleting my cache, and I’ve tried to disconnect JetPack. I can’t do
   anything because I can’t even log in. I’ve also tried to connect to the site 
   with FileZilla, no luck there either.
 * What do I have to do to be able to get into the website again?

 * There’s probably some bad code or a conflict that’s breaking your admin functionality,
   which is something you probably already have figured out,
 * If that’s the case, your only option would be to go to the backend of your web
   host and delete the plugin folder for Jetpack, assuming that Jetpack is breaking
   your site. That will effectively uninstall Jetpack from your site and, if it 
   was indeed the issue, restore your site.
 * White screens are not fun, but they happen. You’ll need to use your web host 
   to manage the files without using WordPress until the error is resolved.
 * My guess is that something interrupted the install. Once you get your site back
   up, try reinstalling it but keep your backend file manager ready in case it goes
   down again. If it does go down again, remove the folder and provide an update
   here. At that point, you may have a conflict with another plugin, theme or custom
   code.

 * I’ve contacted my webhost and they told me they are unable to help me with deleting
   the plugins or accessing the hcacces.
 * For now I can’t set-up any FTP because it seems that I don’t have the current
   logon info.
 * Maybe it is important to inform that I am a complete newbee on this matter and
   still try to find the ropes on how to fix this problem. I did not expect these
   kind of problems with just installing JetPack

 * Yeah, they probably don’t support editing WordPress for their clients. What host
   do you use? Maybe try doing a Google search for “How do I edit files on {name
   of your web host}”.
 * The folder for the Jetpack plugin will be inside /wp-content/plugins/

 * Okay ive done a lot since last time I posted. I am already able to get into the
   dashboard again and I have established a FTP with the help of my webhost.
 * I have deleted the JetPack plugin and then everything works again. But as soon
   as I want to install JetPack again, I get a internal error as soon as I want 
   to activate it.
