• Perhaps I did something wrong but for some reason I cannot log into my wordpress admin account. Some pages show up and some not. For the links that do not work I do get this error:

    500 – Internal server error.

    my url: http://www.domainsforsale.ir

I followed the steps recomended in here. Non did actually work.

I do have some other domains on the same server. They all work well aprt from http://www.domainsforsale.ir.

    Any advise?

I’ve changed the permision of the index.php from 777 to 755. It seems that the website is up, but i’m not sure if setting the permission of index.php to 755 would create any secruity risks.

    Any idea?

i have this problem too :/

755 is more secure than 777 – 777 means anyone could read/write/execute the file. 755 means only the owner can read/write/execute the file while the group can only read and execute and the world also can only read and execute. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions for more details.

@mdavarynejad – are you still seeing a internal server error?

@usefulhack – please start your own topic. While I don’t doubt you are experiencing a similar problem, it is extremely unlikely that you are using the same hosts, on the same servers, with the same themes and plugins as the Original Poster! Think of these forums as help tickets and please create your own.
