This page gets far more clicks than the Mailchimp list receives sign ups. I have tested it multiple times without a glitch, but every so often someone reports they signed up but I don’t have them on my list — which supports the conclusion that sometimes it just doesn’t work for no discernable reason.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Do you have double opt-in turned on for this form, under Mailchimp for WordPress > Form > Settings?

It’s normal that not everyone who visits the page signs up, and not everyone who signs up clicks the opt-in link in their email.

Hope that helps. If you have any questions, please let us know!

Hmm. I followed your directions to that setting and it was already clicked “yes.”

I understand that the conversion rate wouldn’t be 100%, but given that it is a few clicks deep, one would expect most of the people who get that far to be committed. 🙂 For example, in a period analytics registered 6 clicks on the page only 1 address made it through to MailChimp. Seems a tad low.

    Hello,

It’s common for this to rate to be low. Just to check, I signed up using my personal email and I was added to your list. My email is “me@harish…..com” which you can check in your list. The form is working as it should.

Thanks, Harish. Your sign up worked. I guess both my expectations and my paranoia regarding malfunction are too high.
