    We’ve started seeing the error message ‘Your proposed upload is smaller than the minimum allowed size’, but only intermittently. This job has only been running for 10 days (daily) but has failed with this message 2 times in 10 days.

    The log goes from e.g.:-
    3 Files with 401.02 MB in Archive
    to
    1. Trying to send backup file to S3 Service …
    to
    ERROR: S3 Service API: Your proposed upload is smaller than the minimum allowed size

    did the issue happen again after 2 weeks? Normally it’s caused intermittently because of a network issue

    Yes, it happened a few more times. But now getting this every day (Note: the files ARE uploading OK to S3):-

    Starting upload to S3 Service …
    Backup transferred to …
    ERROR: S3 Service API: Access Denied
    2. Trying to send backup file to S3 Service …
    ERROR: S3 Service API: The specified upload does not exist. The upload ID may be invalid, or the upload may have been aborted or completed.
    3. Trying to send backup file to S3 Service …
    Connected to S3 Bucket … in us-east-1
    Checking for not aborted multipart Uploads …
    Starting upload to S3 Service …
    Backup transferred to …
    ERROR: S3 Service API: Access Denied
    ERROR: Step aborted: too many attempts!

    do you get the issue anymore?
    Could you please help me check at that time, there are no other apps upload to S3? Also, there is an Amazon Kb about how to troubleshooting the 403 API access denied here: https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/s3-troubleshoot-403/, maybe it could help ^^
