Support » Plugin: WP Super Cache » Intermittent White Screen of Death on Varying Pages

I have been using the plugin for two years now, and while a white page was sporadic, after the update to the latest version of WordPress, the number of white pages has become astronomic and randomly selected. I had to disable the auto-purge and auto-regenerate feature, as any time I need to generate freshly cached pages, I have to manually perform the option, then check in an “incognito” Chrome session so I am not mislead by browser cache.

This has become quite frustrating as I have lost many sales because of it.

Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing it?

I use BulletProof Security, and have the mod-rewrite and necessary cache references included, which have allowed the plugin to “mostly” work for some time now.

    Thank you

  • You may need to disable the “Compress pages” option which appears to be broken with the latest version on servers it worked fine on before. That’s what caused all the white pages I was seeing.

Thank you. I will give that a try.

We’ve experienced the same thing, to the point that ecommerce buy buttons and gravity forms also have disappeared frm the site.

We’ve been unable to get this resolved, what a mess.

Anyone know how to resolve without restoring from backup?

I’m going to try W3 Total Cache.
