# Intermittent permissions errors

 * Hi,
 * I’ve had a bit of an ongoing issue for a couple of weeks with the Dashboard telling
   me that it can’t write to wp-content for things such as Wordfence logs. I’ve 
   raised this with my host as I never see any incorrect permissions errors when
   viewing the filesystem. My host hasn’t been very helpful unfortunately and I’m
   still trying to work out why this happens.
 * This happened today when I logged in, so whilst my browser was open I started
   another incognito session and my dashboard was perfectly fine – no permissions
   errors and everything worked correctly (same admin user).
 * I believe it’s down to the cookies, as I deleted these in the main session, logged
   in again and no permissions errors. Any idea what would cause this?

 * This is the issue between you and your server/browser … and seems have nothing
   to do with the WordPress core 🙂

 * I agree it’s not a WordPress core issue, I’m keen to understand what may trigger
   it and whether it’s anything to do with WordPress specifically though?
